Christopher Robert Evans, born June 13, 1981, is an American actor. In 2000, he began his acting career as a character on TV shows such as Opposite sex. After appearing in numerous films for teens, such as Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he was renowned as the Marvel Comics Character the Human Torch. Evans appeared in several film adaptations of comic books and graphic novels, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim and the World vs. the World (2009) and Snowpiercer (2013). Alongside his character as Captain America/Steve Rogers Evans earned him recognition for the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. His work on the Marvel series helped establish him as one of the top-paid actors.
