MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped him enter mainstream Latin music. The hit song from 2016 Una Lady Como Tu was the winner of a Colombian Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song in 2017. In Medellin the year of Medellin, the Sony label La Industria Inc. released ADN his first long-player. It reached the number 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums chart. The following year he was a part of Ozuna to record his Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He was a part of the team with Noriel on Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and the following year came out with his second album, the charting Dopamina. Later, in 2021, He sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI for her smash hit Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 with the massively popular La Bachata. Turizo was born into an musical family. His elder brother and mom are also musicians. Turizo has told interviews that music is compulsory. As a child, he played the ukulele guitar and piano. He initially wanted to be Veterinarian, however after his brother Julian convinced to him take singing lessons from a Cuban singer, he altered his career plans.
